This is my lovely Kenyan daughter, Saada, who is about to take her Standard 8 exams and start Secondary education. She is always first in her class. She has faced many challenges in life no child should have to face but she has always risen above her adversity. She is the most marvellous example of what a girl can become if given the right opportunity.

Our family has sponsored her throughout her Primary education and visited her several times.  Secondary school in Kenya is relatively expensive, in fact it's almost 4 times as much as going to Primary. People have started to ask what they can buy me for my special birthday, but seeing this clever girl go to secondary school will be the best gift ever. So, If you were thinking what the perfect gift would be for me - this is it! And you don't even have to wrap it (but do GiftAid it if you can).
