I am running the London marathon to support Gaucher’s association. The charity does an incredible job supporting patients and families, raising awareness and promoting research for people touched by this very rare metabolic condition. 

Hopefully funds raised will help them develop treatments for children affected by the condition, as currently treatment requires long term venous access. This can impact hugely on children’s quality of life. An oral treatment would be a huge breakthrough.
