On Friday 1st May we lost our much loved John Evans. 

He was the most caring, fun loving, thoughtful, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad anyone could  ask for. He passed away as a result of COVID 19. Luckily as a family we were able to visit him and see him through the window at Newline Care Home, where he received end of life care.  My 92 Grandma was able to be by his side, when he peacefully slipped away. 

As a result of COVID 19 there is only going to be  close family allowed at the funeral (5 us of in total). Resulting in many family and friends not being able to attend.

My Grandads wishes were to donate any collections raised at the funeral to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, as it is a charity close to his heart. Many years ago, my Grandma had a fall whilst on a walk on the moors and had the assistance of the Air Ambulance. 

As a family we have set up this page for anyone who like to donate in our Dads / Grandads memory and also for you to leave a message in his honour.
