Story
On Sunday 24th September 2017 (which just so happens to be my 32nd birthday!) I will be taking part in the inaugural Simplyhealth Great East Run half marathon, running a mere 13.1 miles around Ipswich.
This will be my 3rd half marathon race after which time I will be hanging up my long distance trainers temporarily to focus on our treatment.
Seeing as the main reason I initially wanted to lose weight was to better our chances of starting a family, I thought there would be no better charity to raise money and awareness for than Fertility Network UK.
I've signed myself up to become one of their #100FertilityFaces and in doing so agreed to raise a minimum of £100.
As I'm sure you are all aware, I am passionate about removing the stigma around infertility and will be doing anything I can to break the taboo.
The third National Fertility Awareness Week will be taking place on Monday 30 October - Sunday 5 November and more information can be found about it at www.NFAW.org.uk
