Well I suppose there comes a time in your life when you have to do something that will scare you witless in the name of charity…and apparently my time has come – and I’m taking J with me! Eeeekk!!!

One of The Grand Appeal volunteers (an amazing organisation which I work for!) has taken part in 26 parachute jumps for the charity (by the way John is 79) and has persuaded (forced/bribed) me to join him for his 27^th jump. Using John’s specialist persuasion tactics I made sure that I would not be doing this on my own…and luckily J agreed to chuck himself out of a plane too!

The Grand Appeal fundraises to provide comforts and facilities for patients and their families whilst in hospital. Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provide world-class care to babies and children from , the South West of England and in some cases the whole of the and overseas.

With the catchement area covering the whole of the South West, our vital support provides: family accommodation for those families travelling many miles for the hospital services, life saving equipment, arts, entertainment, education, play and music programmes for the young patients of the hospital.

Your support really will make a tangible difference to the children in the hospital so please put on your ‘generous hat’ and help us raise a ‘cracking’ £800!!
