On 28th June I am doing a 12 mile sponsored walk in the north of County Durham to raise money for the Durham - Palestine Educational Trust.  

Every year the Trust raises funds to offer scholarships for Palestinian students to come to Durham University to study at Masters level.  Past students have studied a range of subjects, from social work to engineering - gaining valuable knowledge and skills to take back home and enriching Durham with their presence.
