There is nothing that would make me feel more loved and inspired on my birthday than if you gave $10 to the organization nearest to my heart. 

It has been an absolute delight to serve on Mixteca's Board of Directors and to get to see firsthand the impact this small-but-mighty organization is having every single day in the lives of families across our city.

Mixteca has been working for 21 years to enrich, equip, and empower the Latinx community in Brooklyn and beyond. At Mixteca, we believe immigrants possess incredible potential that is only realized when we actively address risk factors in our community like poverty, lack of legal advocacy, and unequal access to culturally-inspired emotional support and mental health counseling.
