Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My husband, Ben, was diagnosed with Myeloma, an incurable bone marrow cancer in June 2013. This is a debilitating disease that weakens the immune system and leaves sufferers with significant bone pain and disease. At the time of diagnosis Ben had 8 fractured vertabrae. He has since undergone a 5 month course of chemo and a stem stell transplant. He is recovering well. Myeloma UK is the only charity dedicated helping patients and families deal with the diagnosis and treatment of myeloma. It has been hugely valuable for us and we would like to make sure other families receive the same support that we have.
