On July 24th I am running a half marathon for my dear nephew Christian. On that day he is having a very big operation with the intention of eliminating the pain in his legs and reduce the amount of medication he needs on a daily basis, also to improve his speech and mobility.  And hopefully reduce the operations he may have to have in time to come. 

Christian was born premature in 2015 with complications which caused Quadriplegic Cerebal Palsy. He needs 24/7 care as he has great difficulty using his arms and legs and being able to communicate.  His parents are doing an incredible  job and  he attends Treloars School in Hampshire where they too are amazing with his progress. There are so many reasons why this little boy  should have this operation, he is  much loved by his family and everyone who knows him, he deserves the opportunity to live as much a normal and pain free life as we all do. He desperately needs this operation soon as it gets much more complicated as he gets older. It is an 8 hr operation and then 2 weeks in hospital for recovery and then a very enduring 2 year intensive physiotherapy program.

Unfortunately it isn't possible for him to have this much needed operation on the NHS as he will still need 24/7 care after which means sadly  he doesn't qualify. 

I am going  to run 13 miles  which is very much  out of my comfort zone at the same time Christian will be having his operation. Every step will be for him  and knowing the journey he has to face will motivate me to keep moving as my challenge is nothing to what he is facing daily. I would like to ask you to sponsor me  for this little boy, his family are hoping to raise £85,000 for his operation and his recovery which will be consistently ongoing and a much needed specialist wheelchair. 

I would really appreciate your help however big or small to help this little man as he wasn't as lucky as all our children but he so deserves all the opportunity of good health and happiness as our families have been given. Please help me to help make this possible for him!
