Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I did it! On Sunday 12 October I ran in the Royal Parks Half Marathon through central London. It was the first time I've taken part in a long-distance run and it was hard, but it was a beautiful, sunny (at times hot) October day which helped to overshadow the pain! Finish time 2 hours 21 minutes which was faster than I had hoped and I ran all the way.
I have suffered from migraine since I was a teenager but The City of London Migraine Clinic has made such a positive difference to me, and my long-suffering family and friends, that I thought it was time to give something back! I've already reached my original target but the clinic needs as much money as I can muster so please pledge whatever you can afford.
If you, or someone you know, suffers from migraine then you will know how debilitating it can be. The Clinic helps around 1,500 patients a year, from all over the world, but receives no NHS funding. Consequently it relies heavily on fundraising, so please, please make a donation.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The City Of London Migraine Clinic gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
