I'm running in memory of my Grandad 'Reginald Alcock' who sadly past away to his fight with lung cancer eight years ago in 2006. Now he is no longer with us, my nanny 'Elizabeth Alcock' doesn't have her husband to help her get through her illness too, who ten years ago had breast cancer, and through a lot chemotherapy and surgery, having to remove her breast she got through it, now just turned 70 years old her tumors are back and it's so upsetting to see her deteriorate. From her living on her own, I'm going to run and do this for both my Grandparents as cancer is such an awful disease that affects the lives of so many people and once you are getting elderly it's even harder to fight off.

I'm doing this for you Grandad eventhough I didn't keep up with the Guitar I know that I'm going to make it through this race thinking about you. And Nanny everytime I see your face, knowing that you are such a fighter and always there for us, I'm going to run my hardest!

Please help me raise as much money for cancer support as possible! for your friends, relatives and guardians who have been affected by cancer too.
