We are a group of people all committed to raising money to support the incredible efforts and work of Mary Storrie and the Rosie May Foundation family. We can't begin to imagine the impact of Covid19 on families in Sri Lanka but what we do know is that lockdown restrictions prevented single mums from working and without an income they had no means to feed their families. In the pandemic, the Rosie May Foundation,have continued to work tirelessly to support communities both locally and globally. Heartbreakingly, one of the charity's women said she would 'rather die of covid than starve to death' Things might still feel different here in UK post lockdown, but in countries like Sri Lanka the people face a greater degree of challenge.
