Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, it's much appreciated.

My brother David was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy when he was 5 years old. This condition is where there is a lack of dystrophin in the muscle cells, leading to deterioration of the muscles over time.

It is a serious condition, usually affecting boys and unfortunately there is no cure.

In the past I have done a swimming challenge and have also swam with sharks to raise money, so this time I really wanted to push myself and have a go at a marathon!

I am a cake munching, pizza loving, gin guzzling gal and have never ran more than 20 minutes before applying for this charity marathon place!

Whatever amount you can give, I am truly grateful for your support. It means a lot to me and even more to the people whom this charity helps.

Much love and thank you.

Sarah x

Edit: You can now text a donation (I have tested it!)
