Sarah's Big Hair Cut

Sarah Whitfield is raising money for Little Princess Trust
In memory of Karen Bond
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hello everyone.

I have had long hair my whole life!! I have decided that I am going to cut my hair and donate it to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.

My mum passed away from cancer when I was 18. She was lucky enough to have a few wigs given to her when she lost her hair. As an adult it's hard enough losing your hair so I can only imagine what it's like for a child.

I am donating my hair but the wigs still cost a few hundred pound to make. So I am asking for some donation to help towards this.

Thank you for any help you can offer

"When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families."
