Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running a half marathon on 5th October 2014. I'm not much of a runner. After running a 10k (less than half the distance) this weekend I had to lie in a darkened room for hours to recover. So why?

Because I lost my father to cancer at the age of 44. Macmillan nurses did some incredible work to allow him to die at home with us, his family. The work they do is so vital to families affected by this horrible disease.

This is going to be tough for a first timer. He'll be running with me every step of the way. Please give generously!
