Story
I’m taking part in the University of Sheffield’s Big Week to fundraise for Parkinson’s disease research. Together with the rest of the University of Sheffield community, I’ll be contributing to a 50,000km movement target. We’ve chosen this target because it’s now been more than 50 years since the last big breakthrough in Parkinson’s research - a statistic we hope will change soon thanks to research at the University of Sheffield.
Taking a twist on the challenge, I'm aiming to craft 50 metres of bunting across The Big Week! Scissors and sewing machine at the ready, it's time to take a hike to the sewing room and your donations for this worthwhile cause will spur me on... watch this space for updates (and if you want to buy any bunting, I will add those proceeds to my total too - call it a lap of honour!)
