Flora London Marathon 2006 · 23 April 2006 ·

The Ralph Bates Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund provides grants for research into causes of and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Story

I have decided to run the London Marathon this year to raise money for the Ralph Bates Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.  As most of you probably know I lost Dad to Pancreatic Cancer last year and I want to do as much as possible to protect others from the disease.

Training has been rather sporadic with visits to the physio - all this sudden exercise is a shock to the system!  I cant promise any special times, my aim is to finish before my ipod dies!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Ralph Bates Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
