Story
Thank you for visiting our page. As many of you know, in 2020, Darrell, was diagnosed with a rare synovial sarcoma in his neck, which as it is so difficult to diagnose, had spread to his lungs and brain. Unfortunately on 16th December 2024, we were told that the tumours in Darrell's lungs had doubled in size and that traditional therapies had reached their limits. We have had bad news before, but this hit hard due to the incredibly poor prognosis. However, we are not giving up and we are exploring other options including repurposed drugs, new diets and of course, our continued positivity and hope. Last January I ran 40 miles in aid of The Royal Marsden charity; this January i am completing Roisin Hope's Yoga Challenge and if you'd like to sponsor me, I'd be incredibly grateful for any kind donations to Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.Thank you for your support.
