Thank you for visiting this page, in memory of John Sargent. John passed away on the 3rd of July 2019 and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. He leaves behind his wife Marija, their two children and five grandchildren.

In a career that spanned over 50 years in education and the creative industries John was a teacher and mentor to many people. He was also a businessman and entrepreneur, succeeding where many failed in creating a thriving business rooted in the film industry, co-founding Sargent-Disc with his wife Marija in 1986.

John was a diabetic and a long time supporter of Diabetes UK, a charity that leads the fight against one of the most devastating and fastest growing health crises of our time. He would be delighted to know that others might avoid going through the same experience he did and his family would like to thank you all for your donations and kind messages of condolences.
