Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), as defined by the NHS (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/ehlers-danlos-syndromes/#overview)is a group of rare inherited conditions that affect the connective tissue. Connective tissue provides support throughout your body such as internal organs, skin, blood vessels. There are many types of EDS, I personally have hEDS, also known as Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. My EDS has also caused me to have multiple problems such as digestive problems, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, clicking joints, dizziness and comorbid illnesses such as Raynaud's. 

Having EDS has affected my everyday life, I am dependant on mobility aids, I rarely leave the house because I have to severely pace myself. My social life, friendships, relationships and everyday life has been affected by EDS.
