10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

Hi my name is Sasha Milne and I’m trying to raise as much money as I can for Ataxia UK!!!!

Last year I was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia and am really keen to try and raise money towards research into this condition.

This year in 2006, I’m doing a sponsored parachute. I’m really scared and so I want to raise as much money as possible, that’s where you come in.

Please, please help me raise as much as we can. I’d be sooooooo grateful !!!!

Sasha

21st May - Sasha jumped from 11,000 feet - pretty cool for a 12 year old!
