I have recently started volunteering with SAVTE, whose aim is to develop English language skills for people and build confidence to become independent, active citizens. I am currently working 1:1 on a weekly basis with a learner and this has already been an amazing, rewarding experience. More than teaching English, this has been a wonderful opportunity to build relationships and exchange culture. 

I wanted to do a little bit more to help so I am running Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 26th March for SAVTE!! Any donations would be splendiferous!!! :)
