SAS Whites Y3P Challenge · 29 May 2021

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Andy Clapham, Chris Gill, David Loveridge, Rawden Rogerson, Simon 'Wappy' Wapshott and Chris Wicks, all members of the Surrey & Sussex (SAS) Whites, plus Phil Mann from Leeds, are tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 29 May 2021. This is a 24-mile challenge with the aim to complete it within 12 hours. Nowhere as easy as it may sound!

We're trying to raise at least £5,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who help support those affected by this terrible disease, one that it is unsure how it starts and one for which there is currently no cure. High profile sufferers include Prof Stephen Hawking, Scotland rugby icon Doddie Weir, Leeds Rhinos hero Rob Burrow and the Leeds United legend who was Don Revie. But it's the unknown majority who really need our help and support.
