Exeter Uni 3 Peaks 2020 · 16 June 2020 ·

Exeter University take on the UK's 3 highest peaks in 24hr, to support The Children's Society.

Story

In June I'm going to be climbing the UK's 3 tallest peaks to raise money for The Childrens Society charity who support the most vulnerable children in this country.

Children like Huda, who was sexually assaulted when she was 15 years old, facing honour-based abuse at home afterwards, which led to her frequently going missing and subsequently falling victim to child criminal exploitation. She then became involved in county lines activity, being made to pack and carry drugs to trap houses by her abusers in return for food, water and places to sleep. Huda was unaware that she was being exploited until she was referred to a worker from The Childrens Society, who supported her to break free from the cycle of exploitation. Please give whatever you can to our challenge and this charity, so we can create a country where children are free from disadvantage, and can live better lives.
