hi all, sorry we didnt get an update out yesterday - we just had to crawl into bed and let the bugs nibble! (must be karma after eatinf tarrantula). Think we did 90km yesterday on some real tough tracks. Halfway through 65kms today and it is seriously hot and soakingly humid..but, we push on. Just a quick thank you for the continued donations, its really driving us on, please checkout the pics and see YOUR impact. cheers andy n paul

update 6. awesome river ride laid out on deck for a healing day. got into cambodia and went to the killing fields (....). tomorrow crazy day ahead with 90kms to do on some really tough routes due to monsoon damage....oh also got to eat a tarantula..pics tomorrow ;)

update 5. another 72kms knocked off today and made it to the vietnamese border town (chau doc) for entry into cambodia tomorrow. 6.30 am start for a 5 hour boat ride. highlights of today 1.kids faces (never tires) and 2. chopping head off a snake, drinking its blood then cooking it (not as nice as dog). few spills today but all group ok bar 1 at hospital.

update 4. 92kms back of the net! got into some very remote villages and took in some amazing scenery. like andy said 'i now know what the beatles felt like' - kids cant get enuff of us, just thrilled to see and speak to us. oh we also ate a dog today - off out for rat and snake later ;)

just warming up for a big 92kms...vietnamese massage has helped somewhat!

Update 3. 65km under the belt and both feeling good. Rode through some lovely villages high fiving the kids, and took some little ferry rafts across various points of the Mekong....oh and watched a duck getting slaughtered for tea :(

Update 3. Excellent first day with 65km under the belt. Rolled through some lovely villages high fiving the kids...oh and watched a duck getting slaughtered for tea!

Update 2. Group seem cool, explored Sigon today with 4 of them. Took a look round the war museum (horrendous). Meal with the group tonight then first ride tomorrow. Check out pics!

Update 1. Sat in departures trying to scope out the other members of the group ;)

HUGE THANK YOU for the support so far, well on our way to smashing that target.

Challenge #1 was successfully completed - checkout the video here (and turn up the music loud!). If you're not quite sure what we've been up to, the promotional video is here Challenge #1

We'd really appreciate you all keeping the momentum going so please pass on any fundraising suggestions, and keep those words of support coming! We are a long way off our target but progress is steady, details of challenge #2 will shortly be announced...Thanks again, Paul & Andy :-)

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page, before you read on, any support - small or large - would be greatly appreciated. Simply donate online at this page, or text AGPD96 to 70070.

Our aim, in a nut shell, is to raise a stack of cash for Save the Children. The charity works in 120 countries and fight to save children’s lives, fight for their rights, and help them to fulfil their full potential. Take a look at their website for more info > #Save the Children#

The plan (with your support) is to raise £6000 for Save the Children. In doing so we intend to bike from Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Angkor Wat in Cambodia - its around 400km, hot and humid..so some serious training required! Please spare anything you can for this worthwhile charity :-)

We've got a number of events planned to raise the cash and we'll publicise these in due course, but if you have any suggestions or other organisations we can link with, please contact one of us.. pretty much anything is on to hit that 6k!

To the staff at Darlington College, it would be great to see your students involved..

Cheers, Paul & Andy
