Story
2017 sees the 10th anniversary of the Savills Cheltenham office. To mark this event the Cheltenham team, supported by the Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold offices, have set themselves the challenge of completing 10 charitable events to raise £10,000 for the Gloucestershire Community Foundation. We are calling this challenge the '10 in Ten'!
The 10 events we will be completing are:
1. Swimming Challenge - 10 miles in 10 days (starting 15 May)
2. Leg Waxing - men only! (22 May)
3. Sleep Out in Cheltenham (25 May)
4. 10 hour bike relay marathon outside the Cheltenham office (6 June)
5. The Great Savills Bake Off (13 June)
6. Cheltenham Challenge - 10km multi-terrain run (18 June)
7. Cotswold Way Walk - 102.1miles between Chipping Campden and Bath (23 June)
8. Cycle Ride between the Stow, Cirencester and Cheltenham offices (28 June)
9. Eton Dorney Triathlon (16 July)
10. Golfing Challenge (13 September)
The aim of all of these events is to raise £10,000 and hopefully more for the Gloucestershire Community Foundation.
The Gloucestershire Community Foundation was established in 1989 and works with donors to connect funds to local need, helping to overcome disadvantage in Gloucestershire. Their aim is to build a permanent and sustainable endowment for the communities of Gloucestershire. The charity manages and distributes funds to where it really matters - to voluntary groups on the front-line doing vital and life changing work in our local communities. Examples of recent groups supported are the Gloucestershire Young Carers and the Gloucestershire Bike Project. Further detail can be found at: https://www.gloucestershirecf.org.uk/
We are keen to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity and any donations would be much appreciated.
