On Thursday 8th May 2008, we will host the Kidney Research UK Saving Lives Ball at the Thistle Hotel, Glasgow.
The aim of this black tie event is of course for everyone to have a great time. Through doing so, we would also like to raise awareness of the important work this charity does and indeed to help raise money to enable us to continue to fund the life saving research, ultimately to find a cure for Kidney Disease.
Bobby Singh, a Glasgow businessman is a dialysis patient at Gartnavel hospital in Glasgow. Bobby spends 3 days every week, for 5 hours a day, hooked up to a machine which is currently doing the work his kidney's are unable to. Until a donor kidney is found for Bobby will continue to lead his life reliant on a dialysis machine.
This event is being well received and tables of 10 are available for purchase at the cost of £1000. The evening is set to be one filled with fun and great entertainment for everyone. With a growing list of celebs from the world or sport and television, we know it will be a night to remember.
If you would like more information on this event please contact Heather Manson on 01236 790516 or mobile 07899 995196 or alternatively email heathermanson@kidneyresearchuk.org
