Yemen is the biggest humanitarian crisis the world has seen. Unfortunately, COVID-19 and a flood have added to their worries. The lack of basic necessities, Yemen is calling for our help. Alhamdulillah we are in such a blessed place where we have access to clean water, shelter, food and the list goes on. Alhamdulillah we have been able to live to experience another Ramadan, and I pray collectively we can help the people of Yemen in such a blessed month. I hope you can all contribute to this cause in any way possible whether it may be donating towards the cause or sharing it to all your contacts. I hope that this can be a means of relieving some of the difficulties that the people of Yemen are facing, insha Allah.
80% of the Yemeni population are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.With the Yemen conflict entering its fourth year with no end in sight, the Yemeni people are struggling to survive a terrible famine, armed conflict and outbreaks of disease like cholera. The United Nations describes the Yemen crisis as the worst famine the world has seen in 100 years.
Penny Appeals emergency teams are on the ground in Yemen, giving those in need vital food packs, hygiene and dignity kits and medical support and training.
By the end of Ramadan 2019 we will have helped over 80,000 people, Alhamdulillah!Help us reach thousands more Yemeni people with life-saving food, medicine and support.
