The Girls’ Network aims to inspire & empower girls aged 14 to 19 from the least advantaged communities by connecting them to a mentor & a network of professional female role models. We support around 1000 girls a year in London, Merseyside, Hampshire, Sussex, the North East & the West Midlands.

Story

With a long winter ahead, we wanted to set ourselves a challenge to keep active and do something for a good cause. So on Nov 14th Emma, Jenna, Julie, Kasia, Hannah and Lou are running 10k to raise money for The Girls' Network. While we've all broken the 5k barrier this year (thanks lockdown), 10k is a stretch so every donation will motivate us to keep going!

The Girls’ Network aims to inspire and empower girls aged 14-19 from the least advantaged communities by connecting them to a mentor and a network of professional role models who are women. They support over 1000 girls a year via relationships with schools in London, Sussex (inc. Shoreham/Brighton/Hove), Portsmouth, the West Midlands, Greater Manchester, the North East, Tees Valley and Merseyside. Professional volunteers are trained in mentoring and safeguarding by The Girls’ Network and meet their mentees at least once a month for a year. Mentoring is a journey, helping mentees get from where they are to where they want to be.
