Hi everyone and thank you for taking an interest in my fundraising!

To help raise valuable funds for Alzheimer's Research UK, I will be scaring myself in the name of science and live-streaming myself playing horror games, purely for your enjoyment. 

But there is one problem... 

I hate horror games and am very easily scared.

When I say easily scared, I mean that it took a long time to get through the Deku tree because of the spiders when I played Zelda: Ocarina of Time. A bit of tense music in Spyro and that console was switched off. And even now... I am still afraid of the dark. I have the LOWEST tolerance for anything remotely tense or scary!

So come and watch me freak out over genuinely scary and tense games and laugh at how ridiculously paranoid I get by my own 'in-game' shadow. 

*As a result, there may be some profane language!*

But why on earth am I doing this I hear you ask! 

Well the reason I have decided to get #ScaredForScience on behalf of ARUK, is because of my grandad. He developed early-onset Alzheimer's and died of dementia-related complications in his 60s. BUT THIS IS NOT NORMAL! 

DEMENTIA IS NOT A NORMAL PART OF AGEING!

The leading cause of dementia is Alzheimer's disease. At the moment Alzheimer's disease cannot be prevented, slowed or cured, but there is no reason why this disease cannot be treated and eventually beaten like any other! This is where Alzheimer's Research UK comes in. With your donations, they identify and fund innovative and promising research projects that will help us to understand, diagnose, prevent and eventually cure one of the leading causes of dementia.

So laugh at my expense and donate to a great cause if you feel so inclined! Also anyone that donates can suggest a horror game for me to play! When I finish a game... I will pick one at random!

Live-streams will be every Tuesday and Thursday night from 8:00 pm.
