Story

My Dad William Marsland Pye passed away suddenly on the 12th July 2020 due to unknown Heart disease. At the time he was mountain biking up Walna Scar with a group of friends and family members.

2 Air ambulances, 12 volunteers and 3 hours had past but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to save my Dad. Coniston mountain rescue team brought my dad down to the village on their stretchers.

In honour of my dad and a way to say thank you to Coniston Mountain rescue team, I will be doing a walk up Walna Scar with friends and family to raise as much money as I can to donate.

Coniston mountain rescue team runs purely off donations so it’d mean so much if you can donate! However much I can raise I will match the amount and also be donating to the North west air ambulance, who also played a huge role that day.

Any donations are very much appreciated🤍
