Newbury Soup Kitchen hold drop in sessions feeding the rough sleepers, homeless & vulnerable in our area. Providing all round support. Working to expand into a building of our own to open all week. We help support where we can to improve people's lives & situation. Giving people back their dignity.

Story

I find it really sad that there are homeless people out there so I want to help support this charity. I think that they do a great gob helping the homeless and that the homeless know that they are not alone and they have the soup kitchen to go to as a friend to go and talk to. It is very kind to help these people, feed them and go through it with them. The soup kitchen is very kind to help the homeless and feel for them so I want to support them. - Scarlett

Jan 2017 Meryl set up Newbury Soup Kitchen It is a voluntary organisation providing help and support to the local homeless, rough sleeper community and those less fortunate. The primary operation is to expand into a friendly drop-in centre for vulnerable adults who perhaps have mental health issues or just lonely. All are greeted with hot food, outreach and advocacy on different sessions throughout the week.
