Earlier this year I was given an amazing opportunity to take part in the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea next August. It’s the largest event organised by the largest youth movement in the world! I’m going with more than 45,000 scouts from across the globe, all speaking different languages and all with different cultures. It will be an incredible experience that I can’t wait to explore.

To help with my fundraising I had originally planned to walk a full marathon, around Lake Vyrnwy, but unfortunately I’ve faced back to back illnesses that have really effected my training, which had been going really well. Now I’m going to aim for a half marathon walk, all in my Scottish kilt, and push myself to go as far as I can. 

As a UK attendee of the World Scout Jamboree, we pay more to help subsidise people from less fortunate countries so they too can have the same opportunities as us. I would be so grateful if you are able to sponsor my walk so I can go on this trip of a life time. Thank you!
