Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

After struggling with anorexia over the last few years I am wanting to raise awareness of this horrible illness and highlight the challenges faced by sufferers and their families.

My project for the Summer Show at The Northern School of Art is centred around repetition and I chose the repetitiveness of anorexia as my theme.

At the Summer Show visitors can also enjoy some of my home baked brownies and blondies for a small donation to BEAT, the eating disorder charity.

To further raise awareness of eating disorders I have created this Just Giving page so those who can’t attend the Summer Show can also donate to this fantastic charity.

p.s. if you want some blondies and brownies feel free to check out my Instagram baking page @scarls._bakes

Thank you!
