Scarlett's Name a guide dog puppy fundraising

Name a puppy · 14 February 2019
Scarlett is 7 years old, from a very young age she has talked about guide dogs.
Scarlett has been on a mission to raise £2500 to name a guide dog puppy, this money will help towards the dogs training. The dog will then go on to have the incredible job of helping someone who is visually impaired.
Scarlett has had some amazing opportunities to meet with working dogs and training pups. We have met some amazing volunteers but they need more funding to continue their work. Scarlett would like to train guide dogs when she is older.
She has currently raised £2131 (not including this page) through Tombolas, sponsored walks, cake sales, donations, raffles. We have more plans for this year, if you are able to help in anyway we would be very grateful.
UPDATE: Scarlett is so close to her target in only 11 month's that she has now decided to try to reach £5000. This will enable Scarlett to not only name a puppy but also meet it.
Thank you very much.
Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives. Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
