15,000ft Sky Dive, 10km Run and Christmas Day Sea Dip! · 29 September 2017

Macmillan Caring Locally works in partnership with the NHS to fund the Macmillan Unit, a Hospice and specialist palliative care unit at Christchurch Hospital in Dorset. Please note that we are not connected in any way to the national charity Macmillan Cancer Support.

Story

I have decided to fundraise for my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Over the next year I will be raising money for Macmillan Caring Locally which is a local charity who focus on palliative care. This charity is not linked with the national charity of Macmillan Cancer Support so rely heavily on local donations. The unit at Christchurch Hospital provide care and support and is invaluable for sufferers and their families.

I will be doing a sponsored sky dive, 10km run and a Christmas Day Dip in the sea (whatever the weather!). I would really appreciate your support for these 3 events to help me reach my target and raise money for a very worthy cause.
