Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
MS is a relatively uncommon disease. Because of that, it receives a disproportionately low amount of attention and funding for research and treatment.
I was only vaguely aware of MS until an old friend was diagnosed. Having looked into it, I decided to do what little I could to help. The Lairig Ghru is an old route that runs through the Cairngorms from Braemar to Coylumbridie, near Aviemore, via a large set of valleys carved by glaciers. I've always wanted to walk it, so decided this was my challenge. To make it a little more interesting, we plan to take in 3 Munroes, including the infamous Ben Macdui, camping overnight and the completing our journey in 2 days - a distance of 26 miles, climbing to just over 1300 metres.
Your donation will help an excellent charity make a real difference. Please support me with a donation.
