Tewkesbury Abbey Schola Cantorum of Dean Close Preparatory School's primary role is to sing Choral Evensong during term time in the splendour of Tewkesbury Abbey. The choristers rehearse five mornings each week before school, singing up to four services each week in the Abbey in school term time. In addition, they perform in regular concerts, as well as taking part in broadcasts, and  making recordings. 

This July the choir will be singing on tour in the Netherlands. In order to raise money for this the choristers, on Sunday 8th May, will be walking as a team, the 12 miles between Dean Close School in Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Abbey.
