Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the School for Malagiri JustGiving page.

A School for Malagiri is a charity that supports a school in Malagiri, Nepal, for local children aged 3 to 8. Many young children in this rural area do not receive an education and are in urgent need of schooling.

The charity was started as a fund raising project within the School of Education and is led by senior lecturer, Kevin Fossey. The project is also supported by Kevin’s colleague and friend, Pema Dorjee who is a Tibetan monk and educationalist.

As the School of Education celebrates ‘A Century of Learning’; we wish to raise the profile of this important project and seek support from as many individuals and organisations as possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
