Frodsham CE School Council are raising money to build a school in Kimadsil, Anga-an on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. 

Frodsham CE heard from Father Michael, after his visit to the area, how the children were desperate to attend school but the nearest primary school is 4km away, which because of the terrain and the rainy season can take 2 hours to walk, and if the rains are too strong then streams are impassable so there is no way to get to school.

With your help, we can raise the money to build a local school for the children to attend so that they can receive the education they wish for.

The school council have raised £600 already through different fund raising events and are keen to reach our total of £1000. 

It is 6, 815 miles or 14.5 million steps from Frodsham to the Philippines. The School Council would like to challenge you to walk as many miles or steps as you can and ask friends and families to sponsor you by donating to this page.
