On Sunday 16th May, 1050 young people will take part in the Flight Centre Schools Triathlon. Triathletes will swim, cycle and run whilst raising vital funds for Restless Development.

Story

Hi, my name is Rafe and I am 8 years old. A few weeks ago Restless Development came to my school to talk about the charity and also the Schools' Triathlon which consists of school children coming together and taking part in a triathlon to raise money for the charity. The charity helps children all over the world to give them a voice in setting out what they need in their communities. I think this is important as children need to be listened to and I want to help.

So, I am setting myself the challenge of doing this triathlon with three of my school friends. It will not be easy as I can swim and run but am not confident on my bike and so I shall be practising hard so that I do not let my teammates down. I will fall down a lot and probably get very frustrated but I really want to do this triathlon and help the charity.

I would also love your support to help me raise as much money as I can so if you wish, please make a donation on  my just giving page.

Thank you

Rafe
