Sci-Fi Ball Online Event II

Brett Jones is raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust

Sci-Fi Ball Online Event II · 12 February 2022

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

The Sci-Fi Ball is one of the longest running, best-loved, fan-run sci-fi events in the UK run by unpaid volunteers raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust
Run entirely by unpaid volunteers they stage a fantastic three day event with state of the artproduction equipment including a multi-screen stage, hi-def recording and stunning indoor pyrotechnics. The event features talks, autograph and photos sessions, interactive gameshows and charity auctions. The highlight of the weekend is the Ball itself, a sumptuous three course sit down formal banquet followed by the best in after dinner entertainment…. and all to raise money for their chosen charity the Teenage Cancer Trust.

...and then Covid happened and we cannot run a large social event so here is the online version featuring all the favourites from our event and concluding with a live pub quiz and interactive disco.
