Kiltwalks are vibrant mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and good causes. Every year our physical events bring together Kiltwalkers to iconic Scottish locations.

Story

The Weebles, Kelly, Isobel and Karen are taking part in Scotland's Kiltwalk 2021. We're raising funds and awareness for EXPPECT raising awareness and funds for ENDOMETRIOSIS in Scotland. 1 in 10 women of reproductive age in the UK suffer from endometriosis. 10% of women world wide have endometriosis - that’s 176 million worldwide. The prevalence of endometriosis in women with infertility be as high as to 30–50%. Endometriosis is the second most common gynaecological condition in the UK. Endometriosis affects 1.5 million women, a similar number of women affected by diabetes. On average it takes 8 years from onset of symptoms to get a diagnosis. Endometriosis costs the UK economy £8.2bn a year in treatment, loss of work and healthcare costs. The cause of endometriosis is unknown and there is no definite cure.

Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Any donation you can spare will mean the world to me and my chosen charity. Thank you!
