Story

Hey there, thanks for checking out my page! I’m taking on Kiltwalk’s Wee Wander in my wheelchair this year for the charity that helped me find myself again after losing both my legs above the knee in 2014. I’ve been wanting to take on something like this for a long time and I’m finally doing it! It’s also a good way to get some exercise in so I can get my prosthetics back on. I’ve been off of them due to lockdown weight gain (as I think a lot of us have had the charming effect of) and become too chonky to fit in them.

I’ve been going out for morning strolls with my brother in preparation for the event, and getting my legs back on too. I’ll be looking to rope in some fellow Troopers to take this challenge on alongside me too…

If you’re able to spare a few coins, please do! It’s the best time to do it as all donations raised will be topped up by 50% by the amazing Hunter Foundation so you’ll get more bang for you buck! Thanks for reading and wish us luck!
