Story

Hi! I'm taking on a kiltwalk (or kiltskate) to raise money for a much needed all purpose ice centre in glasgow . Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.

So many ice rinks over Scotland have shut or are shutting, leaving loads of teams and clubs without a Rink which in turn is leading to the end of some amazing sports clubs. I play ice hockey and for me it is so much more than a sport, its a lifestyle, and just as much for my mental health as my physical health. This would benefit so many different sports from hockey, figure skating, speed skating, curling... The list goes on. So many kids spend all their free time at the rink training, practicing and having fun. Don't let this be taken away from them.

Any donations are much appreciated, no matter how small.

Instead of walking I'm planning on skating 26 miles on my inlines (weather permitting if not il walk) over the course of the kiltwalk weekend.

Thanks for all your support x
