The Charley Ashton Foundation was set up in Charley Ashton's memory to support individuals with rare cancers by funding alternative treatments and offering tailor-made grants to improve their quality of life.

Story

For the last couple of years i've completed several runs and races and this year I thought it would be a good idea to try and raise some money for an excllent cause.

Now obviously no one would sponsor me to do just one of these events and I would'nt expect people to. So i've signed up to do more events in the next 8 months than i've ever done before. 8 events, over 100K with over 300 obstacles including a half marathon and a night time swim in winter in the Lake District. That has to be worth something right.

The charity i'm doing all of this for is the Charley Ashton Foundation. This is a very special charity which was set up after Charley sadly passed away due to cancer. Determined to help others going through a similar situation her family and friends helped set up this foundation.

Her brother is my mate Frup who I went to University with.
