Scott's Dumyat vs Mt Everest

Scott's Dumyat vs Mt Everest · 15 February 2021
From the 15th – 21st February 2021 Jordan Sundborg and I will be raising money for respective charities by walking up Dumyat, Stirling (418m) until we reach the height of Mount Everest (8,849m). This will involve walking up Dumyat just under 24 times, starting at 42m above sea level each time. Throughout the week we will walk up and down 3 or 4 times per day, on a schedule which we have already set, hoping to reach the “summit” with our final ascent on Sunday 21st February.
I have chosen to raise money for Venture Scotland who offer young people, struggling with life aged 16-30, a personal development course based in the outdoors. This last year has been a grind for everybody, but young people need help more than ever and this is a great cause. The programme is open to anyone who wants to make positive changes in their life. Due to the time of year and the difficulty of current life events I do not expect huge donations, anything will be appreciated by myself and Venture Scotland.
Me and Jordan will be sure to update everybody on our progress throughout the week. If you wish to donate, please follow the link to my JustGiving page.
Thank you :)
