We raise money to support sick and premature babies

Story

****update****

Elsie is home. After 5 months in hospital she is home and doing amazing. We are still raising money for first touch to try and give something back for their amazing work!!!

So… my little girl, Elsie, was born on 2/12/21 at only 23 weeks and 4 days.

From birth, she has been on the neonatal unit at St George’s Hospital, and could be there for several months!!

I am raising money by growing my beard until she comes home. It may not sound like much but I want to help out in any way possible. Plus, any runs that I take part in, will also be in aid of First Touch Charity.

The neonatal unit St George’s Hospital cares for 600 babies each year. Many of the babies we care for have been born prematurely, with some mothers having only just reached 24 weeks of pregnancy (40 weeks is generally considered normal). Some babies require life saving surgery. We want these babies to grow up to be healthy, happy children with bright futures. Donations to our work at St George’s help to achieve this
