Manchester Marathon 2021 · 10 October 2021 ·

Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise over £10 million every year.

Story

On the 20th November 2020 aged 46,my Cousin and dear friend Warren Green lost his battle with Cancer,he fought the dreadful disease until his final days,to everyone that knew him knew that he was a fighter, a true gentleman and an all round top bloke. We ran a few runs together so it seems fitting that I put my old body through its paces just for him.Trinity Hospice was there with Warren all the way through his treatments and the good and bad times and I can't thank them enough for what they did  to help him and care for him in the most darkest of days,I want to try and raise £500 ideally but I want to smash that for the hospice to show how myself and the rest of the family and his friends appreciate how much you mean to us and the care you gave Warren. So I'm running this Marathon to help Trinity Hospice help and care for others in the same situation, the work you do is amazing. This is for you Wozza, also for your Mum & Dad who continue to stay strong in their loss of a much loved son X R.I.P. Wozza x always in our hearts X
