Cerebral Palsy Cymru is Wales’s leading cerebral palsy charity. We provide specialist therapy to babies and children who have or are suspected of having cerebral palsy. We also provide a family support service which offers practical and emotional support to those who need it.

Story

When we moved to Wales in 2020, we quickly learned that this brilliant charity exists, and that they have a programme for kids under two years old that don't yet have an official diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy (but are likely to get one in later life).

As part of that programme, they did some amazing work with Ollie, giving him a block of both speech and language and physical therapy sessions - for free. Ollie has recently taken his first independent steps, something his doctors weren't sure he'd ever be able to do, and Cerebral Palsy Cymru are a big part of him getting to that massive milestone.

They have since offered Ollie another block of sessions now that he's turned two, and we can't wait to see where his therapy takes him next. Cerebral Palsy Cymru are an incredible charity working with kids with CP all over Wales, and this fundraiser is to try to show our appreciation for what they've done for Ollie, and for what they continue to do for so many kids.
